A lifetime of dedication to music has earned 95-year-old Tom Street, a beloved trombone player from Heage, Derbyshire, a prestigious Guinness World Record. He has officially been recognized as the longest-serving man to play in a brass band.
Mr. Street was surprised with the momentous accolade on Sunday by his 21-year-old grandson, Louis, who had secretly nominated him for the record.
