World Record Set with 1111-Meter Long Silk Saree Offered to Goddess Dagai Maa

In a grand spiritual and cultural celebration, the Samastha Kadawala Family and team created and offered an extraordinary 1111-meter-long (3645 feet) Indian saree (Chundadi) made of premium silk to Dagai Maa (Navdurga Mataji) during the Shrimad Bhagwat Saptah and 555 Kundi Shree Vishnuyag Mahayagna.

The divine event took place on 7th May 2016 at Shri Dagai Dham – Ghelda, Taluka Jam-Jodhpur, District Jamnagar, Gujarat. The massive saree was a symbol of deep devotion and was designed, coordinated, and managed entirely by the Samastha Kadawala Families.

The ceremonial offering of such a long saree not only showcased an impressive feat of craftsmanship and faith but also set a new record for the longest silk saree offered to a deity in a religious event.
