In a grand tribute to the nation on the occasion of 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a patriotic celebration titled “Har Ghar Tiranga” was organized by Shree Ranjitbhai Vala and Hirenbhai Patel, where the longest Indian National Flag, measuring an impressive 2075 feet in length and 4.5 feet in width (covering a total area of 867.92 square meters), was hoisted and carried by over 5,000 participants in a 4-kilometer walk through Botad City, Gujarat.
This powerful visual of unity and patriotism set a new world record and was a shining example of national pride and community spirit. The massive Indian flag, waving proudly above thousands of citizens, created a sea of tricolour that echoed the sentiment of “One Nation, One Emotion.”
The event was organized to salute the spirit of India and enhance patriotism among the people, especially the youth. It was held in alignment with the nationwide “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, commemorating India’s 75 years of independence.
The program was strongly supported by the Botad District Police Department, the Botad District School Owners’ Association, and Shree Anand Developers, ensuring smooth execution and wide public participation.
Speaking at the event, the organizers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the citizens of Botad for their enthusiastic involvement and to all supporters who made this monumental achievement possible. “This wasn’t just about breaking a record—it was about breaking barriers between hearts, uniting under the national flag,” said Shree Ranjitbhai Vala.
The event concluded with patriotic songs, cultural performances, and a renewed commitment to serve the nation with pride and unity.
