In a spectacular display of cultural unity and social awareness, the Bhartiya Janta Party, Rajkot Team, in collaboration with the Self Finance School Management Association and Incredible Group, organized the “Incredible Garba Mahotsav 2023” at the iconic Race Course Ground, Rajkot, to mark the celebration of Sharad Purnima 2023.
The highlight of the event was a record-breaking Garba performance by over 100,000 participants, dancing in unison to the song “Maadi”, a composition originally penned by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modiji. The electrifying atmosphere was amplified by a live performance from renowned Bollywood singer Parthiv Gohil and his talented orchestra team.
The event not only celebrated Gujarat’s rich Garba tradition but also served as a powerful platform to spread the message of a “Drug-Free Rajkot”. Participants from all walks of life joined in the cause, turning the celebration into a massive movement for social change.
This remarkable feat officially set a New World Record on 28th October 2023 for the largest number of people performing Garba together on a single song, further showcasing Rajkot’s commitment to culture, community, and a healthy future for its youth.
