In a heartfelt tribute to the late legendary Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar, versatile singer Varsha Kulkarni (popularly known as Khushbu Gujarat Ki) set a new musical record by performing 85 iconic songs of the melody queen in a live orchestra format.
The tribute, held at Dinesh Hall on Ashram Road, Ahmedabad, was a marathon musical event spanning 14 continuous hours, spread across three musical shows on May 1, 2022. Varsha was accompanied by two supporting male singers, bringing to life the timeless classics of Lata Mangeshkar with grace and devotion.
Organized by Mr. Amit Desai and supported by Madhusudan Bhavsar along with the Movie Masti Orchestra Group, the event was a blend of nostalgia, emotion, and musical brilliance. Enthusiastic audiences witnessed an unforgettable journey through the golden era of Bollywood, celebrating the unmatched legacy of Lataji.
With this performance, Varsha Kulkarni not only paid homage to one of India’s greatest cultural icons but also etched her name into the record books for the longest non-stop tribute concert dedicated solely to Lata Mangeshkar’s songs.
