Longest time suspended by the hair new world record set by Leila Noone

Circus performer Leila Noone has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest time suspended by the hair, enduring an astonishing 25 minutes and 11.30 seconds. This feat took place on June 14, 2024, in California’s Redwood National and State Parks, surpassing the previous record of 23 minutes and 19 seconds held since 2011 by Suthakaran Sivagnanathurai of Australia .

Noone, 39, trained for over two years to prepare for this physically demanding and risky performance. During the attempt, she was suspended solely by her ponytail, accompanied by gentle guitar music and encouragement from friends. She even struck graceful poses mid-air, demonstrating remarkable strength and composure .

Known for her appearances on shows like American Ninja Warrior and her social media presence showcasing acrobatics and hair-hanging stunts, Noone aimed to highlight the power of mental and physical endurance through this achievement.
