Longest Historical Drama on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Sets World Record in Maharashtra

In a magnificent tribute to Indian culture and the heroic legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Vidya Mandir Prashala, Miraj, Dist-Sangli, Maharashtra, successfully organized the Longest Historical Drama based on the life of the Maratha warrior king.

Over 150 students participated in the grand production, performing various roles and historic characters continuously for 2 hours. The event took place at the school ground of Vidya Mandir Prashala, Bhramanpuri, Miraj, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and the local community.

Adding to the scale and authenticity of the performance, the school also constructed a massive replica of a fort covering 2100 sq. ft. area with 30-feet-high walls, serving as the backdrop for the drama.

This extraordinary initiative not only celebrated India’s rich history but also set a new world record for the longest historical drama performance by students with the largest stage setup, dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The event marked a historic moment in cultural education and student engagement, inspiring many toward patriotism, history, and the performing arts.
