In a remarkable initiative to preserve and promote Jain literature, Acharya Shri Suvidhisagar Maharaj Ji, the Pattadhish of Tapasvi Samrat Acharya Sanmati Sagarji Maharaj, has achieved a historic feat by collecting and digitizing 1008 sacred Jainism books into a single pen drive.
Titled “Sahashtran Granths Sangrah,” this vast digital library was officially launched during Acharya Shri Suvidhisagar Maharaj Ji’s 51st Birthday Celebration, in a grand event organized by Shree Digambar Jain Samaj, Chennai. The launch ceremony took place at the Shree Adhinath Digambar Jain Mandir, Kondithope, Chennai, and witnessed the distribution of over 1000 pen drives to readers and devotees across the Jain community.
Each pen drive contains PDF versions of the 1008 texts, marking an unprecedented step in making ancient Jain scriptures accessible in digital format to the global audience. This thoughtful compilation not only preserves spiritual knowledge but also introduces a new era of Jain literature distribution.
This monumental achievement has been recognized as a New World Record for the largest digital collection of Jain scriptures compiled and distributed in a single event.
The event reflects a blend of technology, spirituality, and tradition, celebrating Acharya Ji’s vision of propagating Jain values through modern means.
