The District Collectorate Office, Junagadh, in collaboration with the Youth and Culture Department of the Government of Gujarat, organized the prestigious running marathon “Girnar Aarohan Spardha.”
A total of 2,500 participants took on the challenging ascent of Girnar Mountain, running up to a height of 1,031 meters by climbing 5,500 steps. This remarkable feat set a new world record for the largest number of people running up the mountain together.
The event highlighted both physical endurance and community spirit, drawing enthusiastic runners from across the region to celebrate health, fitness, and the cultural significance of Girnar Mountain in Junagadh City.
