Inner Wheel Club of Udaipur Sets World Record with Largest Rakhi Logo Made of Millets

In a spectacular tribute to the festival of Raksha Bandhan, symbolizing love and protection between brothers, sisters, and families, the Inner Wheel Club of Udaipur, District 305, Rajasthan, India, organized a World Record event that beautifully blended tradition with sustainability.

Under the dynamic leadership of District Chairman Mrs. Nisha Khandpur, the club created the world’s largest Rakhi-shaped logo of the International Inner Wheel, measuring an impressive 20 feet x 20 feet. What made this creation even more remarkable was the use of 3,000 kilograms of five different varieties of millets (grain seeds) — promoting the importance of millets as a healthy and eco-friendly food source.

The event, hosted at Rockwoods High School, Shyam Nagar, Chitrakoot Nagar, saw the enthusiastic participation of 40 dedicated members, who meticulously designed and assembled the artwork as a gesture of love, unity, and social harmony.

The initiative not only celebrated the spirit of Raksha Bandhan but also aligned with global health and nutrition goals by spotlighting millets, declared as “Shree Anna” and promoted under the International Year of Millets 2023 by the Government of India.

This innovative and heartfelt celebration earned a New World Record, reflecting the club’s commitment to community service, creativity, and cultural pride.
