In a historic and pioneering achievement in the field of medicine, Dr. Amit Kumar C Jain, from Bengaluru, Karnataka, has been officially recognized as the Youngest Father of a Specialty in Medical Literature for developing and establishing the unique field of Modern Diabetic Foot Surgery.
Dr. Jain is credited with laying down the original principles and practice of diabetic foot surgery from India, which has now been acknowledged as a groundbreaking contribution to global medical science. His work has been published in esteemed peer-reviewed journals including the International Journal of Surgery Science (2018) and the International Journal of Research in Orthopedics (2019).
This recognition was confirmed by World Records India on 5th April 2023, marking Dr. Jain’s exceptional contribution to medical education, innovation, and diabetic foot care.
