ATV CITY CHANNEL Ahmednagar successfully organized “SUNDAY-CYCLE DAY 2014” to celebrate National Cycle Day and World Doctor’s Day. The event saw an impressive participation of 4,135 cyclists who took part in a marathon to promote environmental awareness, fuel conservation, and healthy living.
Participants formed the longest bicycle human chain stretching over an 11-kilometer route, proudly carrying the slogan “LESS POLLUTION IS BEST SOLUTION.” The initiative aimed to encourage sustainable transport and highlight the importance of reducing pollution for a healthier future.
The event was inaugurated by renowned social activist Shri Anna Hajare, along with Popatrao Pawar, MLA Anil Rathod, and Mayor Sangram Jagtap. The marathon was organized by Sushil Thorat, Sagar Dussal, Shoeb Jahagirdar, Mohsin Qureshi, Rohit Walke, Amit Anecha, Jakir Shaikh, and Papu Jahagirdar, and executed by Amol Bagul.
This massive cycling event not only set a new record but also sent a strong message about environmental responsibility and personal health to the people of Maharashtra and beyond.
