In an awe-inspiring display of devotion, memory, and discipline, Dhveej Dwarkesh Gandhi, a 9-year-old prodigy from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, has set a New World Record by flawlessly reciting all 700 Shlokas (verses) from the 18 Chapters of the Bhagavad Gita in Sanskrit, purely from memory, in an astonishingly short time of 64 minutes and 14 seconds.
A student of Anand Niketan School (Shilaj) and currently in the 4th standard, Dhveej accomplished this extraordinary feat on March 11, 2022, at a public event held in Ahmedabad. His accomplishment not only showcases his incredible cognitive abilities but also underlines his deep-rooted spiritual commitment at such a young age.
The successful record-setting attempt was made possible through the tireless support and guidance of his proud parents, Shri Khyati Gandhi and Dwarkesh Gandhi, who nurtured and encouraged his pursuit of spiritual learning and Sanskrit studies.
Dhveej’s achievement stands as a shining inspiration for children across the country, blending tradition with youthful brilliance and reaffirming the timeless relevance of India’s ancient scriptures.
