Sharath Gayakwad, a trailblazer in Indian para swimming, etched his name in history as the first Indian para swimmer to qualify for the 2012 London Paralympic Games. Earlier, Sharath had showcased his potential at the 2010 Asian Para Games in Guangzhou, where he clinched the bronze medal, further establishing himself as a key figure in India’s para-athletic journey.
