Ahmedabad, December 2, 2017 — In a remarkable tribute to the spirit of inclusivity and empowerment, Navjeevan Charitable Trust, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, organized a grand celebration on the occasion of World Disability Day 2017. As part of the event and in support of the Government of India’s “Accessible India” mission, the trust unveiled the largest replica of a crutch (walking stick for the specially abled), standing at an impressive height of 51 feet (15.55 meters) and was honoured by Wold Records India.
Constructed using MS pipes, foam, and wooden materials, the towering structure was installed at the Navjeevan School Campus, Opposite Water Tank, Memnagar, Ahmedabad.
