The Indian women’s table tennis team scripted history by winning their first-ever Commonwealth Games (CWG) team gold at the 2018 Gold Coast Games.

Led by star paddler Manika Batra, and backed by Mouma Das, Madhurika Patkar, and others, the Indian squad stunned defending champions Singapore with a dominant 3-1 victory in the final.

This landmark win broke Singapore’s 16-year unbeaten streak in the event and marked a new era of excellence in Indian women’s table tennis on the global stage.
