Ahmedabad, March 9, 2025 – In a landmark event for the legal fraternity, the Bar Council of Gujarat organized a historic Oath Taking Ceremony for 11,600 newly enrolled advocates, marking a significant milestone in the state’s judicial history. The grand ceremony was held in the gracious presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendrabhai Patel.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who attended the event as the chief guest, hailed the occasion as a “golden day for the judicial system of Gujarat,” highlighting its importance in strengthening the legal framework of the state.
The event earned a coveted place in the World Records India, and a certificate recognizing this extraordinary feat was presented to the Chairman of the Bar Council of Gujarat, J.J. Patel by Paavan Solanki – Chief Editor of World Records of India and Genius Foundation
The ceremony was graced by several eminent dignitaries, including Gujarat Law Minister Rushikesh Patel, Chairman of the Bar Council of India and Member of Parliament Manan Kumar Mishra, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, and Advocate General Kamal Trivedi.
