“NephroPlus Sets Guinness World Record for Largest Kidney Health Screening Drive”

NephroPlus, Asia’s largest dialysis care network, has achieved a Guinness World Record for the ‘Most Number of Sign-ups for a Health Screening Test in One Week,’ with 10,500 sign-ups from March 6 to 11, 2025.

Additionally, the company entered the India Book of Records for conducting the ‘Maximum People Screened for Serum Creatinine Test at Multiple Venues,’ with over 4,500 screenings held across 26+ cities from March 6 to 8, 2025.

This initiative was part of NephroPlus’s World Kidney Day 2025 campaign, themed ‘Are Your Kidneys OK? Detect Early and Protect Kidney Health,’ aiming to raise awareness about Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and emphasize early detection and prevention.

The campaign targeted high-risk groups, including individuals with diabetes and hypertension, in major cities such as Bengaluru, Delhi, Jaipur, Pune, Hyderabad, Lucknow, and Ranchi.

During the event, NephroPlus announced the launch of a CKD Prevention Study based on extensive data collected from the screenings. This study aims to produce a white paper and a manuscript in a reputed academic journal, marking a significant step in CKD prevention research.

Vikram Vuppala, Group CEO and Founder of NephroPlus, emphasized the importance of early detection and intervention in kidney health, urging governments to prioritize CKD prevention as a strategic economic investment.

The upcoming CKD white paper will highlight how preventive measures can reduce healthcare costs, enhance productivity, and improve overall public health outcomes. NephroPlus aims to expand its awareness and prevention initiatives in the coming years to ensure more people have access to early diagnosis and care.
