The Beej Sohla (anniversary celebration) of Sant Tukaram Maharaj will soon occur. As part of the celebrations, a world record-breaking turban dedicated to Sant Shree Tukaram Maharaj has been created.

A Grand Tribute to Sant Tukaram Maharaj

Pune – The Beej Sohla of Sant Tukaram Maharaj is set to be celebrated soon, and Dehu town is gearing up for the occasion. As part of this event, a massive turban has been crafted, which symbolizes the glorious history and revered literary contributions of Sant Tukaram Maharaj. This grand turban is expected to inspire and energize devotees. The unveiling of the turban has already taken place, and its massive size has left everyone astonished.

A ceremony was held to inaugurate the world’s largest turban dedicated to Sant Tukaram Maharaj. This turban is set to be recorded in both the World Records India and Genius Foundation. The turban has a circumference of 23 feet and a height of 4 feet. To create this record-breaking turban, 500 meters of Pure White fabric was used. This achievement is considered a significant and honorable moment for the Warkari sect (devotees of Sant Tukaram).

Made from Cotton Fabric

The grand turban was unveiled by Dilip Sonigra and is made entirely from cotton fabric. Initially, the record for the largest turban was set at 28 feet, but this year, a new record has been made with a turban measuring 22 feet in circumference. This turban was crafted using traditional methods and took four days to complete.

Shailesh Yadav, the turban’s creator, stated that this year’s 23-foot circumference turban has broken the previous world record. The initiative was conceptualized by Dilip Sonigra, while Pawan Solanki, President & CEO of World Records India and Genius Book Foundation, confirmed that this massive turban, measuring 5 feet in height and 10 feet in width, has become the centerpiece of attraction. It is currently placed at the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Temple in Dehu for devotees to witness.
