Mahakumbh: Four World Records Will Be Made In Mahakumbh Between 14 and 17 February, Preparations to Set a New Record

The Maha Kumbh Mela, a significant Hindu festival held in Prayagraj, India, is set to attempt four Guinness World Records between February 14 and 17, 2025.

February 14: Over 15,000 sanitation workers will collectively clean the ghats, aiming to surpass the previous record of 10,000 workers set during Kumbh 2019.

February 15: More than 300 volunteers will clean the water stream at Sangam, striving to establish a new world record.

February 16: A fleet of 1,000 e-rickshaws will operate simultaneously at the parade ground, targeting another world record.

February 17: Approximately 10,000 participants will engage in a mass hand-printing event at the Ganga Pandal, aiming to create the largest handprint painting within eight hours.

These initiatives highlight the Maha Kumbh Mela’s commitment to cleanliness, sustainability, and community participation.
