Buona Beef, a renowned Chicago eatery, set a world record by creating a 109-foot-long Italian beef sandwich.

The sandwich featured 75 pounds of Buona Beef’s signature Italian beef, spread across 109 feet of Turano bread and topped with sweet peppers.

This monumental sandwich was assembled at the Cornerstone Community Center in Chicago’s Sheridan Park neighborhood.

After documenting the sandwich’s measurements and taking a group photo, the volunteers sliced up the massive meal and served it at the shelter.
