Shikha Sharma from Neemuch, Madhya Pradesh, Sets Record with Rangoli Featured in ‘Asia Book of World Records’ and ‘India Book of World Records’
Shikha Sharma’s rangoli has been recognized by the ‘Asia Book of World Records’ and the ‘India Book of World Records.’ Chief Minister Mohan Yadav congratulated her on this remarkable achievement. It took four days, or approximately 100 hours, to complete the rangoli. In Neemuch, images of 1,000 great personalities were crafted across 84,000 square feet using rangoli art.

Shikha Sharma created this stunning rangoli at ‘Rajendra Prasad Stadium’ in Neemuch, covering an area of 84,000 square feet. This artwork has become a symbol of artistic and cultural heritage, not only for Neemuch but for all of India and Rajasthan. Through her rangoli, she depicted historical icons like the great kings Maharana Pratap and Prithviraj Chauhan.
Additionally, she included images of Pandit Arjunlal Sethi and a divine mother figure. Her artwork reflects not only her hard work and creativity but also brings Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage and history to life.

Shikha Sharma shared, “I have a deep connection with Rajasthan and have been honored several times there. In 2020, I won three gold, five silver, and four bronze medals at the ‘International Youth Festival’ organized by Rajasthan University.”
This rangoli masterpiece is a testament to Shikha’s dedication and artistic talent. The inspiration behind her creation is Vasant Vijay Maharaj from Krishnagiri, under whose guidance Shikha brought this extraordinary artwork to life.
