Young people from Bihar are making their mark in various fields, bringing pride not only to themselves but also to the state. Once again, a youth from Khanpur block in Samastipur has achieved a remarkable feat that everyone is proud of. A young man from Samastipur has raised the honor of both Samastipur and the entire Bihar state by recording his name in the Asia Book of Records. Prince Kumar, a resident of Khanpur block in Samastipur district, has earned a place in the Asia Book of Records for setting a world record in Chakrasana while holding weight on his stomach.
It is worth mentioning that earlier, on March 12, 2022, his name was also registered in the India Book of Records. This young man from Samastipur broke the record set by Soumya Ranjan Rout from Odisha, who had lifted a 30 kg weight for 1 minute 39 seconds. Prince lifted 118.15 kg in 60 seconds to set the new record. Later, on May 12, 2022, he surpassed his own record and entered the Asia Book of Records by lifting 140.6 kg while performing Chakrasana in 60 seconds.
Prince began his journey from Samastipur itself. His dream is to get his name recorded in the Guinness World Records, and he is working tirelessly toward this goal. Prince is originally from Gotiyahi village in Khanpur block, Samastipur district. He mentioned that he has been practicing yoga and karate since childhood.
According to Prince, he later began training in gymnastics and parkour, as well as Wushu and Mixed Martial Arts. He won a bronze medal in Karate and a silver medal in Wushu at an inter-college tournament. Now, he is practicing to get his name in the Guinness World Records.
