Guinness World Record: Diksha Gupta’s name has been recorded in the Guinness World Records for creating an amazing painting of Lord Tirupati Balaji using henna. She said that this art is a gift she received from God.
Guinness Book of World Records: Diksha Gupta, a resident of Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, has earned a place in the Guinness World Records thanks to her artistic talent. Diksha Gupta created the largest painting of Lord Tirupati Balaji using henna, which has earned her a spot in the Guinness World Records. Speaking about this achievement, Diksha Gupta mentioned that she had to put in a lot of effort to reach this milestone, as conceptualizing and executing such a level of work are very different. She further added, “I didn’t learn this anywhere; it’s a gift from God.”
“I Wanted to Do Something Unique”
Diksha Gupta continued, “Earlier, I only used to apply henna on hands. But during the lockdown in 2020, I decided to turn adversity into opportunity and started painting. While anyone can paint using brushes and colors, various forms of painting exist across different states. So, I decided to think of something different from what the world usually does.”
“Art Does Not Depend on a Platform”
Diksha Gupta said that one of the best thoughts she admires is by Dhirubhai Ambani: “Think first and think differently.” She too thought differently and started creating paintings with henna. She added, “I want to tell those who live in small towns and think they need to go to big cities to make a name for themselves, because there is no recognition of talent in small towns, that art does not depend on any platform. We can achieve a lot even while living in small towns, if we have the passion for it.”
It is worth mentioning that Diksha Gupta’s name has previously been recorded in the India Book of Records. She created a 9 feet long and 6 feet wide painting of Tirupati Balaji using henna, which appears truly extraordinary and unique.
