MP World Record: The Mohan Yadav government of Madhya Pradesh is on its way to setting a record for making world records. This has become a topic of discussion because several world records are being created one after another in Madhya Pradesh.
Within 8 months of the tenure of the Mohan Yadav government in Madhya Pradesh, world records have already been set in dance and tabla. Now, preparations for the Damaru (a traditional musical instrument) are in the final stages.
It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav made efforts to add more grandeur to the procession through some new experiments during the first and second processions of Lord Mahakaleshwar. In the first procession, folk artists from the tribal community were invited to perform, while in the second procession, a band of 350 police personnel performed, further enhancing the grandeur of the procession.
In the third procession, a world record will be set by playing the Damaru. During a video conference with Neeraj Kumar Singh, the Collector of Ujjain and Chairman of the Mahakaleshwar Temple Committee, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav casually mentioned that a world record could be made in the procession of Lord Mahakal by playing the Damaru as well.
Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh, following the Chief Minister’s orders, has prepared the entire strategy. Now, a world record for playing the Damaru will be set in the third procession of Lord Mahakal. In this procession, over 1,500 artists from Ujjain and other places will play the Damaru, and their names will be recorded in the Guinness World Records.
After the assembly elections and with the swearing-in of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, a world record was set in December 2023 at the Tansen Festival held in Gwalior, where 1,282 tabla players performed together. Since then, the streak of setting world records has continued.
At the 50th Dance Festival in Khajuraho, 1,484 artists made their mark in the world record through the art of dance. Following this, a world record was set recently in Indore by planting 1.1 million plants in a single day. Now, the presentation of the Damaru in the procession of Lord Mahakal is set to create a world record.
Ujjain Collector Neeraj Kumar Singh, during a discussion with ABP News, said that in New York, 488 NRIs played the Damaru in a special event to have their names recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Now, in Ujjain, this record will be broken during the procession of Lord Mahakal.
He said that in Ujjain, 700 Damaru players from Bhopal, Chhatarpur, and other places, along with 800 local Damaru players from Ujjain, will come together to set the world record.
