World Record in Maharashtra: The Maharashtra Forest Department has set a Guinness World Record by writing “Bharat Mata” with 65,724 plants. A total of 26 different species of plants were used to create this record. This achievement was accomplished during the Tadoba Festival 2024 in Chandrapur, Maharashtra. A video of this event was shared by the state’s Forest Minister, Sudhir Mungantiwar, and is going viral on social media.

Tadoba Festival Conclusion: The three-day Tadoba Festival began in Maharashtra on March 1 and concluded on Sunday. The festival aimed to promote wildlife conservation, tourism, and the preservation of Maharashtra’s heritage.

‘Bharat Mata’ Written with Plants

During this festival, the Maharashtra Forest Department arranged 65,724 plants in such a way that from above, the words ‘Bharat Mata’ can be seen. A video of this has gone viral on social media. The video was shared by the Forest Minister and the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve on various social media platforms. Maharashtra’s Forest Minister, Sudhir Mungantiwar, also congratulated the Forest Department for achieving this milestone during the ‘Tadoba Festival 2024’ held in Chandrapur.

Maharashtra’s Forest Minister, Sudhir Mungantiwar, posted a video of the achievement on his X (formerly Twitter) handle. Appreciating the efforts of the Forest Department, he said, “During the Tadoba Festival, the state Forest Department created the words ‘Bharat Mata’ with 65,724 plants from 26 different species, setting a Guinness World Record.” The festival was inaugurated by the state Forest Minister himself.
