Bhilwara city in Rajasthan is once again set to create a world record. A massive five-colored turban has been crafted to be registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. The turban measures 6 feet in height, 4 feet in width, and covers 5,650 square feet.
Special Honor Ceremony
The turban was created under the leadership of Rajasthan Janmanch President Kailash Soni to honor BJP State General Secretary and MP Damodar Agarwal. This gigantic turban, weighing 22.8 kg, was presented to Damodar Agarwal at the BJP district office in Bhilwara, marking a special tribute.
World’s Largest Turban Presentation
During the event, the presentation of the world’s largest turban was live-streamed. Thousands of people gathered to witness the grand event and clicked selfies with the massive turban on display.
Previous Record in Betul, Madhya Pradesh
Earlier, the record for the world’s largest turban was held by Betul, Madhya Pradesh, on August 26, 2022. That turban measured 1,133 feet in length and covered 3,716 square feet. Bhilwara has now surpassed this record, and the official registration process for the new record is underway.
Turban Tying Experts
To tie the enormous 2,775-foot-long turban, expert Surendra Singh Chundawat Jogras and his team were called. Surendra Singh has been tying turbans for the past 20 years, making this achievement even more significant.
