Six-year-old Mehransh Vartak, a first-grade student of C.P. Goenka School in Thane, has once again brought pride to the city by winning the Asia Book of Records title for the second consecutive year.
This time, Mehransh earned the recognition by accurately naming international painting artists — a feat that showcased his sharp intellect and remarkable memory. In 2023, at just four years old, he achieved his first Asia Book of Records entry by correctly identifying 112 traffic signs.
Known for his quick learning and strong retention skills, Mehransh has been displaying exceptional talent since toddlerhood, winning his first gold medal at the age of two. He is passionate about drawing and playing the piano and has so far secured 16 medals in various global intellectual competitions and games.
Speaking on his son’s achievements, his father, Nikhil Vartak, said, “We support Mehransh in every way possible and never force him into anything. He often teaches us new things. As his father, I am extremely proud of him.” He also revealed that Mehransh dreams of becoming a dentist in the future.
With two Asia Book of Records titles before even turning seven, Mehransh continues to inspire his peers and community, proving that age is no barrier to excellence.
